OVERVIEW:
Small after school care service facility located in Ashburn Va . IMMEDIATE need of a PT Accountant/Bookkeeper to assist in accounts receivable and some basic bookkeeping functions. 510 hours per week could be more once you are familiar with our operation.
Hours are flexible preferably between business hours of operation 10 am to 6:30 pm) and must be during workday days (MF). You can choose days of the week that work best for you. However we require this schedule to be set and a minimum of 2 days a week. This is an onsite MINIMUM ond day during the work week and hours remote for the remainder of the house will be considered. For example you can work as few as 2 hours a day for 5 days or 5 hours a day for 2 days. Great as supplemental income to your other job(s).
We offer a casual work environment and the opportunity to set your hours to work around your life. This is a parttime 1099 position work onsite opportunity. All work must be completed at our facility.
DUTIES:
Create invoices and email customers/vendors for payments
Collection follow up by phone and email
Employee payroll onboarding/inputting employees in system running payroll and maintaining as needed (includes 1099 & W2 employees)
Use existing google sheet formatted as a pivot table to track and monitor progress for accounts receivable and payroll
Maintain and improve google sheet docs and other docs as needed
Improve payment turnaround time. Our A/R is 45 to 90 days we want to reduce it to 15 to 45 days
Maintain journal entries expense reports and financial reports
Other related tasks as needed

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 12 years work experience in bookkeeping
PROFICIENT in Quickbooks online and/or Quickbooks Desktop
PROFICIENT in Microsoft Excel experience/knowledge with Pivot Tables (minimum intermediate level)
Attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
