Job Description
Position Highlights:
- Location: High Point North Carolina
- Schedule: Part Time
Job Summary:
Provides high quality comprehensive therapeutic direct and indirect care for the patient which is supportive of the care given by the Physical/Occupational Therapy Department.
What Youll Need:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR Certification.
What Youll Do:
- Assists with patient care treatment under the supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist to meet the goals and needs of the patient.
- Provides appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines.
- Communicates in a professional manner with patients physicians and staff.
- Performs various administrative inventory and organizational duties to meet the needs of the department.
- Promotes professional growth and provides community education and/or committee representation.
- Maintains safe and clean treatment areas.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate professionally with therapist and other health professionals
- Ability to communicate with patients of all age groups
- Experience with computer processing
- Demonstrates courteous and respectful communication skills
- Demonstrates flexibility with an everchanging schedule
