STV Inc. is actively seeking a Civil/Highway Project Manager to join our Transportation group in Maryland. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment collaborating with federal state and local transportation agencies.
As a Project Manager at STV you will drive projects from initiation to completion overseeing design scheduling cost estimating and project while ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards. You will also play a key role in mentoring staff coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients to deliver highquality solutions.
Lead highway and transportation design projects for state county and municipal agencies.
Oversee plan development including horizontal and vertical alignment cross sections staging traffic control signing and pavement marking plans.
Manage budget schedule and quality control to meet client expectations.
Prepare and review technical reports specifications cost estimates and bid packages.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships acting as the primary liaison with agency stakeholders.
Support business development efforts including capture planning proposal writing and strategic pursuits.
Work closely with internal teams to optimize resources manage workloads and foster a collaborative environment.
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required (Masters preferred).
Maryland PE license required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in highway design and transportation infrastructure projects.
Strong project management leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced consulting environment.
Familiarity with Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) standards and local agency processes is highly desirable.
