Temp

Wellestablished orthopedic clinic in Fremont is looking for 2Medical Billerfor a temporary to possible hire position. These are immediate positions and the hiring manager needs these positions filled immediately!!

Responsibilities:

Make phone calls to patients physicians and insurance/billing companies.

Check and respond to voicemails on your assigned day. Answer the phone on your assigned time/day.

Medical Biller verifies insurance coverage and benefits for mental health.

Generate audit and process claims via the Claims queue. Verify Eligibility prior to generation of claim. Transmit claims.

Generate and work on rejected claims.

Medical Biller Rebill claims as needed due to new insurance or carrier did not receive.

Obtain retroauthorizations when required.

Collect post and manage patient account payments.

Review delinquent accounts and call (as directed) for collection purposes.

Monthly InPerson/Zoom Meetings when requested by assigned physician to go over their aging/AR.

Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.

Know several different coding systems including Level 1 HCPCS and Level 2 HCPCS CPT Codes and ICD10 Codes.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of medical billing preferred. 6 months preferred

Extremely organized

Reliable and a selfstarter

Salary:$2526hour DOE plus medical benefits after 60 days plus Paid Sick Leave after 90 days
