Maintenance Mechanic

As aMaintenance Mechanic youll be a key member of the maintenance team you will operate at a worldclass level for Maintenance & Reliability. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting plans to reduce breakdowns improve planned maintenance optimize scheduled maintenance and effectively execute downday events;
- Maintaining the facility in a safe manner and to a standard level of equipment availability;
- Participating in the wash up day planning halftime and followup meetings;
- Incorporating plant delay items into weekly wash ups;
- Maintaining close contact with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure maintenance activities occur with minimal disruption to production operations;
- Recommending improvement in maintenance and operational procedures; and
- Capturing and recording necessary equipment and material history;
- Working with storeroom personnel to order replacement parts.
Were Looking for Someone Who Has:
- Experience with Motors Gearboxes Warman pumps Boilers Bearings Conveyors or Highpressure Water systems
- 3 or more years maintenance experience in a continuous operating 24/7 manufacturing environment or related field.
- Strong mechanical technical knowledge.
- Able to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs and work rotating shifts
- Experience working with a maintenance database system (CMMS)
