Join the Device OS and Platform Services team and help build the foundation for Clovers cloudbased pointofsale terminals. As a Senior Engineer youll play a key role in shaping our vision and delivering highquality solutions that power seamless transactions for businesses worldwide. If youre passionate about technology and thrive in a fastmoving environment we want you on our team!
What you will do:
- Design and build RESTful services that power Clovers cloudbased pointofsale terminals handling updates telemetry and release management.
- Turn product requirements into functional maintainable and scalable software solutions.
- Investigate issues coordinate responses and implement fixes to keep our services running smoothly.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the team to continuously improve our platform.
- Drive our transformation from a monolithic architecture to a microservicesbased system.
- Own services from development through deployment ensuring performance and reliability.
- Participate in an oncall rotation to support our platform and keep merchants up and running.
What you will need to have:
- 6 years of software development experience.
- 5 years of proven serverside development in Java or JVMbased language with use of databases.
- Experience in backend server development database and cloud technologies.
- Experience with web service frameworks such as Spring Boot service mesh helpers such as Istio and microservice development environments.
- Familiarity with cloudbased service hosting solutions such as Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Experience in mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- General understanding of security protocols encryption/decryption technologies PKI certificates management.
- Experience with containers such as Docker build/CI systems such as Jenkins and source control such as Git.

Salary Range
$108900.00 $186800.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
