Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive specializing in Medical Malpractice to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in the healthcare industry and a deep understanding of commercial insurance products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with medical malpractice insurance clients and carriers
  • Analyze clients insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
  • Lead the renewal process for existing clients and manage the underwriting and pricing negotiations
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting medical malpractice insurance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of client services and effective risk management solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients providing proactive risk management advice and support

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance or related field
  • 5 years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Executive with a focus on medical malpractice insurance
  • Indepth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large client portfolios
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist for Healthcare or similar) preferred

Daytoday

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their insurance needs and deliver customized solutions
  • Coordinate with carriers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms for medical malpractice coverage
  • Stay informed about industry developments and changes in regulations and advise clients accordingly
  • Work closely with the team to ensure outstanding client service and retention
  • Attend industry events and build a strong network within the healthcare and insurance sectors
