You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOur team is specialized in the development of clinical navigation systems for minimally invasive ENT surgery. Clinical navigation systems (Stryker Scopis System) are used to guide surgeons by displaying the position of medical instruments on threedimensional CT or MRI data of the patient and ultimately to precisely reach anatomical targets. The team uses the latest technologies such as computer vision augmented reality and AI for computerassisted surgery.
Our offer to you
We are offering a Master Thesis in area of Interactive Guidance for Navigated ENT Surgery .
You will learn and the latest technologies in machine vision computer graphics humancomputer interaction and interactive systems.
You will have the opportunity to develop prototypes for our Surgical Navigation System and support our team with your proofofconcept application.
You will implement your solution using C or Python and Matlab and evaluate it in an ecosystem consisting of stateoftheart navigation and imaging systems.
You will be an active member of our international and interdisciplinary research and development team.
That makes you stand out
You are studying for a masters degree in computer science medical engineering mathematics physics or a comparable subject.
You have experience with objectoriented programming languages (C/C) script languages e.g. Python Matlab and preferably libraries OpenCV Qt DCMTK).
You have a good grasp of mathematics.
You want to tackle challenging problems in medical engineering.
You have a good command of English and ideally a good command of German.
You work independently are highly motivated and committed and are prepared to take on responsibility quickly.
