Successful candidates are: - Versed and skilled in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular evaluation dysfunction treatment and diagnosis
- Skilled and knowledgeable in pre/post op outpatient spine care therapeutic exercise manual techniques and outpatient spine protocols
Responsibilities include: - Work to improve patients current status for a return to work or previous/desired lifestyle or sport
- Work to restore maintain and promote patients overall fitness and health
- Work with our in house health care team consisting of Neurosurgeons Physiatrists Physician Assistants Nurse Practitioners and our Imaging team
- Communicate with this referring physicians and families front desk staff and our CNSAs healthcare team on a daily basis
- Teach patients how to perform exercise with equipment such as pulleys bands weights and bikes/treadmills
- Keeps records and progress notes via electronically of patients assessment plan of care and discharge reports.
- Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
- Applies our values in decisionmaking and interactions with all individuals.
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
- Other duties as assigned by changing needs patient flow or physician request.
