Job Description
Milton Town School District is looking for a parttime dental hygienist to work for the Vermont Department of Healths 802 Smiles program in our district. The hygienist will help ensure that every child has access to emergency preventive restorative and continuous care in a dental office by providing screenings and basic preventive services as well as educating students on oral hygiene in the classroom. The pay is $45 an hour for 1 days a week during the school Responsibilities
- Performs basic dental exams and apply sealants or other cavitypreventing agents to slow dental decayRecords and reviews of patient medical histories and makes recommendations for followup care at the students dental homeProvides health education to improve and maintain the oral health of studentsMaintains dental equipment and ensures proper sterilization and storageCoordinates with MTSD nurse health staff teachers and principals to schedule exams plan educational material and
