Job Description

The Nonclinical Studies Unit at Boston Universitys National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL) works to understand the molecular biology and pathogenesis of viruses that require maximum containment including Ebola virus and Marburg virus. Research technicians work will involve purchasing of supplies ensure equipment functionality data maintenance and coordinating developing. Ability to work in BSL3 and BSL4 laboratories is required.

Required Skills

Bachelors Degree required with 13 years of experience. Experience organizing and analyzing data evaluating efficacy of vaccines and therapeutics. Must be able to pass health and security checks to permit work in a BSL3 and BSL4 laboratories with select agent viruses.
