Operations Leadership Trainee Your Future Position
In the Operations Leadership Program you will participate in a twoyearlong program that combines structured learning and development with onthejob training and project management opportunities. This program is ideal for professionals with interest in applying core technical and problemsolving skills into a leadership role in a peopleintensive manufacturing/production environment.
You will experiencea multinational working environment and you will learn and grow with the help of passionate professionals.
In this role:
Functional Rotation: the successful candidate will be assigned up to seven different rotations to provide them with a strong understanding of all areas essential to the Operations function. During each rotation you will be assigned a Departmental Sponsor/Learning Leader to oversee the associates time work and training in that area.
The departments are: Production Quality Lab Warehouse/DistributionProduction Planning & Scheduling Plant Maintenance Quality Management & Process Technology and Engineering.
Functional Exposures: Is focused on developing basic crossfunctional exposure to other key areas within the business outside of the manufacturing / production area. The diverse training areas for exposure are: EH&S Operational Accounting HR FC&A ST CommercialCustomer Care PID & Regulatory Regional Supply Chain and Samples.
Leadership Development: Involves the transition of the candidate into a leadership role within Givaudan. You will begin developing advanced peopleleadership skills and will supervise and coordinate all efforts related to the tactical daily operation of the department. You will begiven projects to either manage or participate on throughout the program.
Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelors Degree preferably in a field of Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering OperationsManagement etc.
- Fluency in English
- At least 2 years of working experience
- Experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting preferred
- Results oriented
- Adaptable to a constantly changing work environment
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
Preference will be given to suitable candidates from designated groups whose appointments willcontributetowards the achievement of the Companys employment equity goals.
