Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of a Registered Dietitian the Clinical Dietitian Provisional provides services in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. In conjunction with the Registered Dietitian develops and implements nutritional assessments and care plans for adolescent adult and geriatric patients. Acts as a liaison between Medical staff nursing staff and other ancillary departments. Responsibilities involve providing nutritional counseling to adolescent adult and geriatric patients.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelors degree program in Foods and Nutrition and completion of a Dietetic Internship.
- Current provisional licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.
- Must obtain registration and licensure by passing the Registered Dietitian exam within 6 months of hire.
PREFERRED:
- Masters degree in food and nutrition.
