Overview
Job Title: Buffet Host/Cashier
Salary: $20.00/hourly
Shift: Days Swing
Located in beautiful Black Hawk CO the Monarch Resort Spa seeks a passionate Buffet Host/Cashier to join our team! You will thrive in a fastpaced highvolume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and team.
Responsibilities
- Guest Interaction: Greets guests upon arrival thanks them for dining and engages in friendly conversation while learning their names.
- FrontofHouse Responsibilities: Maintains a neat environment seats guests takes initial drink orders and assists with opening and closing tasks.
- Administrative Duties: Answers phones schedules large party reservations validates coupons and manages cash and payment transactions.
- Support Tasks: Assists with bussing tables maintaining cleanliness and operating registers and credit card terminals.
- Additional Duties: Rewrites menu boards keeps records of guests per server and performs other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience and Skills: Preferably has 1 year of cash handling experience and strong general mathematical skills; basic to intermediate computer knowledge required.
- Team Player: Works well with others offers assistance when needed and maintains a positive attitude in a highvolume loud and dynamic environment.
- Guest Service: Demonstrates excellent communication and guest service skills with the ability to speak write and understand English effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of standing for most of the shift bending stooping using hands continuously and lifting/pushing up to 45 lbs.
- Flexibility and Compliance: Available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays and must pass a preemployment criminal background check and drug screen.
