Geisinger ConvenientCare urgent care clinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. This advanced practitioner will float to the ConvenientCare clinics in West/North Central Pennsylvania (Lewistown State College Williamsport PA).Job Duties:
Geisinger ConvenientCare urgent care diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats earaches sinus infections flu urinary tract infections and more. Routine health exams immunizations screenings and wellness services are also provided.
ConvenientCare has much to offer allowing you to live well in both your professional and personal life:
- $5/hour Float Premium $10400 annually
- $10k recruitment incentive for new hires
- Office Hours Monday Friday 8:45 am 8:15 pmSaturday & Sunday 7:45 am 6:15 pm
- 14 rotating shifts/month. Work every other weekend.
- No overnight shifts and no mandated additional shifts.
- Call approximately six nights per year
- No direct patient call for critical lab CT etc.
- Six observed holidays Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Christmas Day New Years Day
- Work autonomously with limited administrative burden.

Experience is required Due to the autonomous nature of the position advanced practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one and older and have a minimum of six months advanced practitioner experience in primary care emergency medicine urgent care or critical care.
