The CGIGTO Montreal Network team manages internal and external client environments providing solutions in LAN/WAN connectivity security SDWAN collaboration unified communications and cloud computing. The team works with vendors such as Cisco Check Point and Fortinet (including Fortinet suite: FortiGate FortiManager FortiAnalyzer FortiAuthenticator etc..
Partner with clients to analyze needs and define deliverables.
Translate business needs into technical solutions for approval.
Assess network requirements and impacts across LAN WAN SDWAN security IP telephony and wireless.
Design implement and optimize Fortinet SDWAN solutions for improved network performance and security.
Create infrastructure documentation (diagrams implementation plans etc..
Configure telecommunications equipment based on implementation plans.
Collaborate with architects project managers and operations teams.
Evaluate results service quality and adjust plans as needed.
510 years managing large complex networks.
Strong expertise in LAN/WAN SDWAN and network protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP BGP OSPF VLAN etc..
Extensive handson experience with Fortinet solutions (FortiGate FortiManager FortiAnalyzer FortiAuthenticator etc. as well as Cisco and Check Point.
Experience designing networks for campus and enterprise data centers.
Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (Radius Tacacs) VPNs and IP telephony (Cisco).
Proficiency in automation & scripting Linux and network security (DDoS protection monitoring).
Preferred Skills:
Cloud networking (Azure AWS Google Cloud).
Python Ansible and network automation.
Wireless technologies.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively.
Technical certifications (Fortinet NSE Cisco Check Point etc. are a plus.
