Job Description

Facility: Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services
Location: 300 68th St SE Grand Rapids MI 49548
Compensation: $28.90 $41.00 per hour (based on experience)
SignOn Bonus: $8000 $12000
Shift Options: Varied shifts; fulltime positions available

Position Summary
Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join its expanding behavioral health team in Grand Rapids Michigan. RNs will provide comprehensive personcentered nursing care across a range of psychiatric units supporting populations that include youth high acuity adults and older adults.

Available Shifts & Units
12Hour Shifts:
- 7:00am 7:00pm
- 7:00pm 7:00am
8Hour Shifts:
- 3:00pm 11:30pm (Evening)
- 11:00pm 7:30am (Night)
Current Openings Include:
- Youth Populations: FT Evenings & Nights 32 36 hours)
- High Acuity Adults: FT Days Evenings and Nights 32 36 hours)
- Older Adults: FT Evenings & Nights 32 hours)
Weekend and oncall availability may be required depending on unit assignment.
Shift Differentials
- 7am 3pm (Saturday Sunday): $1.25/hr
- 3pm 11pm (Monday Thursday): $2.00/hr
- 3pm 11pm (Friday Sunday): $3.00/hr
- 11pm 7am (Monday Thursday): $4.00/hr
- 11pm 7am (Friday Sunday): $5.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and physicians to provide coordinated care
- Monitor and ensure a safe therapeutic environment
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment care plans and discharge preparation
- Provide clinical leadership guidance and delegation to support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established nursing protocols
- Participate in performance improvement and care quality initiatives
- Support a recoveryfocused and personcentered care model
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Prior experience in psychiatric or emergency nursing
- New graduates with a strong interest in behavioral health may be considered
Additional Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal critical thinking and communication skills
- Culturally inclusive care practices
- Physical and emotional stamina appropriate for a behavioral health environment
- May require valid Michigan drivers license
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay: $28.90 $41.00/hour (based on experience)
- SignOn Bonus: $8000 $12000
