Houseperson

JOB SUMMARY:

The Houseperson is a member of the Housekeeping Department.

• Ensures all clean linen are delivered and put away properly in the linen closets.
• Ensures all dirty linen and terry is put away in proper bins.
• Ensures hallways stay clean including vacuuming when necessary.
• Assists the housekeepers in moving their supply carts from unit to unit.
• Shampoos hallways or units as needed.
• Assists with any conference room set ups and break downs.
• Assures storage areas and chemical room are clean and safe.
• Assists with Bell calls as needed.
• Fills out all check lists when removing items from storage areas.
• Stocks all supplies in the Mini Storeroom to prepare for Saturdays.
• Assists Housekeeping Supervisors and Housekeepers with any inventory needed.
• Runs errands to occupied rooms for guests. Assists with room cleans when necessary.
• Assists with any special or extra tasks that may be necessary within the Christie Lodge.
• Assists other housekeeping team members as instructed and when necessary.
• Communicates and responds to guest issues and requests as necessary.

This position is FullTime yearround eligible for benefits plus bonus potential!

• Prior housekeeping experience at a resort hotel of a similar size preferred.
• Ability to work unsupervised and work a flexible schedule.
• Must have ability to work as a team and be self motivated.
• Weekends and holidays are required.
