About the role
We are seeking an Animal Attendant Team Leader to join our passionate team in North Melbourne on a fulltime basis. In this key leadership role you will mentor guide and train our dedicated Animal Attendants ensuring the highest standards of care for the animals entrusted to us. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced professional in animal welfare and husbandry to apply their leadership expertise in a handson varied and rewarding operational role.
Reporting to the Shelter Operations Manager the Animal Attendant Team Leader will uphold the highest standards of animal welfare by ensuring all shelter activities are conducted in alignment with established policies and procedures. Team Leaders will support and guide Animal Attendants in their daily care of the animals fostering a positive and compassionate environment.
