JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
We are searching for an experienced sustainment research and development engineer to join our Applied Enterprise Systems Department of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State. ARL/Penn States purpose is to develop innovative solutions in support of the Department of Defense engineering and technology needs. In this position you will support and conduct applied research in applied sustainment systems and technologies used in defense applications.
ARL is an authorized DoD SkillBridge partner and welcomes all transitioning military members to apply.
You will:
Minimally requires a Bachelors degree in an engineering or science discipline and 14 years of relevant experience. Masters degree in a related field is highly desired.
Required skills and experience areas include:
Your working location will be a hybrid onsite/work from home with projectdependent ability for hybrid work. Onsite is located in State College PA. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. This position will require periodic travel to remote locations in support of testing as part of a small team of researchers engineers and technologists.

The salary range for this position including all possible grades is:
