Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Tool & Fixture Specialist (Level B) to support our 737 Program in North Charleston South Carolina.
This position will support the 737 assembly team which setups positive feed power feed and orbital drill motors as well as presetting cutting tools for major aircraft joins.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs routine tool set up activities.
- Makes minor repairs.
- Performs manufacture assembly and fabrication of tools.
- Operates various factory support equipment to move materials product and tools as required.
- Provides tooling support to other organizations.
- Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design.
- Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must be willing to work any shift assigned.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
- 6 months or more of experience in tool setup and maintenance.
- 6 months or more of experience in repairing maintaining construction and/or the inspection of tools dies jigs powerfeed etc.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Respirator certification.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- 6 months or more of experience settingup and maintaining powerfeed drills.
- 6 months or more of experience in settingup cutters for both manual and automation operations.
- 6 months or more of experience in operating overhead cranes and/or mobile cranes.
Relocation:

This position is for variable shift. Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs at that time. You will remain on that shift until reevaluation is need.
