Job Description

Position Summary

Lead the deployment implementation and management of the onsite Operational Excellence improvement plan. This includes defining the appropriate metrics expectations programs procedures and management systems to drive improved productivity in operations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Plants Plant Managers Operators and Directors to establish and execute the Improvement Strategy focusing on prioritization mentorship and project management
  • Ensurethe use of programs tools and systems to drive productivity with minimal longterm costs.
  • Accountable for improvements in productivity quality cost delivery and capacity using Lean Six Sigma tools.
  • Supportexisting Continuous Improvement programs and aligns efforts with EHS&S quality and performance goals.
  • Leadproductivity improvement plans across regional plants through idea generation gap analysis and project sharing.
  • Establishekey metrics like asset utilization OEE cycle time energy consumption and quality to track performance.
  • Managesite resources for improvement projects ensuring engagement from leadership and the use of Lean Six Sigma tools daily.
  • Providetraining on LSS tools and statistical methods.
  • Integratenew technologies and works with engineering to drive capital investments that enhance productivity.
  • Benchmarkperformance against similar plants to maintain competitiveness.
  • Helpplants develop 15 year objectives annual targets and quarterly actions to align with business needs.
  • Supportand participatein Productivity and Improvement efforts across the Huber network.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

B.S. Degree in Engineering Science or other technical discipline.
5 of industry experience including Operations Productivity and Asset Utilization
Past experience as Process or Production Engineer is a plus.
Black Belt or Green Belt training and certification preferred.
