Primary Purpose
PRIMARY PURPOSE Duties and responsibilities as presented are intended to be representative and not restrictive. The District reserves the right to modify the assignment and allocation of duties in accordance with operational needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION May be asked to teach days evenings hybrid/online and in the dual enrollment program. Online/hybrid teaching requires additional campusbased training.
Essential Functions
Examples of essential functions are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.
Desirable Qualifications
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated success in helping arts students from historically underrepresented and/or marginalized groups nontraditional students speakers of other languages and students with learning disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any Bachelors degree or higher AND two years of professional experience directly related to the facultys teaching assignment; OR Any Associate degree AND six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty members teaching assignment; OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area; Commitment to diversity. All applicants must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability gender gender identity sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students faculty and staff. The applicant must be able to demonstrate how these factors relate to the need for equity minded practices within the classroom.
