SMCSSutter Med Center SacramentoPosition Overview:
Organizes and coordinates the daytoday actives of the Pharmacy department and assumes the responsibility for compliance with all federal and state laws. Serves as the liaison between the department and staff physicians patients family and other hospital staff. Delivers pharmaceutical care through the provision of patientcentered clinical service medication information education medication preparation and distribution that ensures safe effective and costefficient medication therapy. Exercises sound judgment and developed clinical skills to provide input to and implement the patients plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient their family/support group and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment attentive monitoring and care and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations codes policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific tasks and/or orient other staff to the department. Work as a lead with pharmacy staff to fulfill regulatory operational and clinical need of pharmacy services no direct report assist to management team in project/initiative implementation e.g. IV room lead clinical lead at small affiliates PIC at large affiliate with multi campus pharmacies.Job Description:

Pay Range is $95.53 to $105.07 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
