About the role
We are looking for a dedicated sonographer to assist our doctors with diagnosing and monitoring various conditions. You will use highfrequency sound waves to take images of the bodys internal organs and tissues. You will work directly with patients and use the sonographic equipment to record images of the motion shape and composition of blood organs tissues and bodily masses.
Supervision Received:Reports to Manager of Diagnostics.
Supervision Exercised:None.
Typical Physical Demands:Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients manual and finger dexterity and eyehand coordination. Involves sitting standing and walking. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to operate equipment and pay attention to detail.
Typical Working Conditions: Frequent exposure to communicable diseases toxic substances ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a clinic environment. Requires exposure to bodily fluids.

Location & commitments
Permanent FT role based at our Greenville Arlington location MondayFriday 6:30a.m. 3:30p.m. 8:30a.m. 5:15 p.m.
Overtime may be required to ensure patients are taken care tasks are completed and calls are returned in a timely manner. Weekend work is rare but can occasionally be necessary.
Candidate requirements: Associates degree or completion of a program in medical sonography. Registered or registry eligible by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in abdomen GYN vascular or breast. Two years of clinical experience is preferred.
