In this role you will help support the UHaul community by transporting equipment from the assembly plant ensuring that customers can continue to receive the highest quality of care. You will also roadtest UHaul vehicles to ensure that they are in proper working order.

Shift
Plant Transfer/Test Driver Primary Responsibilities:
- Regular attendance essential
- Able to pass drug screen and background check
- Ensure that proper documentation is complete prior to delivery.
- Transport UHaul equipment between plant and centers.
- Able to use mobile electronic transfer programs
- Examine equipment to verify operational function and quality.
- Testdrive UHaul vehicles and equipment to certify their quality.
- Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
Plant Transfer/Test Driver Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license
- D.O.T. certification if required (can be sponsored by UHaul)
- Adhere to all local state and federal vehicular regulations while driving.

Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions e.g. working around moving parts machines fumes or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks goggles gloves or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary traversing spaces repositioning to reach and use tools and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
