Job Description
TechTrans provides language services and travel logistics language teaching interpreting translating travel coordination and much more. We have offices staff and clients across the world.
We are seeking a FullTime JuniorBuyerfor our Clear Lake/Houston Texas office 77058 who is highly organized able to work at a fast pace and has excellent customer service and people skills.
Responsibilities:
- Buy merchandise or commodities other than farm products for resale to consumers at the wholesale or retail level including both durable and nondurable goods.
- Analyze past buying trends sales records price and quality of merchandise to determine value and yield.
- Select order and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements.
- May conduct meetings with sales personnel and introduce new products.
- Typically works on highvisibility or mission critical aspects of a given program.
- May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Requirements:
- A junior labor category has 46 years of experience and a BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
- Performs all functional duties independently.
- Competency in Microsoft Office business suite software: word excel outlook and ability to learn new business applications and use of database management systems.
Candidate must require no sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
