Job Description

Henry Ford Hospital is looking for an NP/PA to help with their urgent Neuroendovascular need!Dates of covereage:5/1 8/30Coverage needed while they recruit for permInpatient hospitalbased setting with responsibilities for rounding consults and postoperative careNo OR/First Assist or procedural work requiredMust have a basic understanding of acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies ICU care neurosurgical elective procedures and postoperative managementCoverage includes 240 hours in a 6week schedule with weekend shiftsHours are 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. inhouse coverage requiredweekend covereage required every 4th weekNo oncall dutiesExpected to see an average of 10 patients per dayEMR system used: eCare/CernerLevel 1 Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke designationAdvanced Practice Provider (APP) will work autonomouslySupervising physician available offsite oncall 24/7No new graduates will be acceptedProcedures required: simple suture for minor laceration repairPatient demographics range from ages 0 to 99CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTSAANCAANPNCCPASTATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTSMichigan
