Our challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in both backend and frontend technologies particularly in Java and React. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development architecture and design with a passion for building scalable web applications.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Minneapolis MN is $120k $130k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain robust scalable and highperformance web applications using Java Spring Boot and React.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug applications providing timely solutions to technical issues.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Work with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to improve our software solutions.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
14 years of professional experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot framework.
Extensive experience with frontend technologies particularly and Redux.
Knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.
Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred but not required:
Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit Selenium).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
