Job Description
As a Training Instructor in Stafford TX you will conduct technical product training to our customers our sales channel and our employees. As an Instructor you will conduct training in person web and recorded video as well as perform onsite audits of channel shops and technicians!
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Conduct technical training inperson virtual and in video to our customers impact partners and personnel
- Perform audits of Emerson and third party channel service locations assessing the proficiency of equipment and personnel to established standards
- Assist with development of training materials updating materials and proofing
- Ensure technical accuracy of the training material
- Participate in the development and continual improvement of course curriculum
- Maintain repair manage training equipment
- Grading of exams and collection of training surveys
- Gather and research technical information including engineering and development information for use in course development activities
- Participate in new product development activities and gather information for instruction manuals and training course creation
- Work closely with product teams engineering and service to maintain a high degree of technical expertise on assigned training topics and product offerings
- You attentively listen to others and provide timely and helpful information to others across the organization.

- Deals constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes.
- Can learn new skills and knowledge; is good at learning new industry company product or technical knowledge as well as business skills; does well in technical courses and business seminars.
- Able to relates comfortably with people across levels functions culture and geography
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 years of experience required in service repair assembly related product sales applications or engineering
- Ability to communicate effectively and present to medium size audience
- Selfmotivated and able to thrive in both a team and a highly autonomous setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint Word and Excel).
- Ability to travel up to 50 of the time.
- Ability to speak English
- 5 years of experience teaching technical/mechanical content
- Experience with mechanical products such as regulators valves compressors pumps and process equipment
- Ability to speak Spanish.
