Job Description
The Rapid Response RN will provide temporary assistance to nursing departments in need of short term help (generally no more than 2 hours). However the Rapid Response Nurse may be assigned to patient care areas for periods up to and including an entire shift.
Required:Must be moderate sedation certified have ACLS and ICU experience- Required: Two years of medicalsurgical experience is required.
- Preferred:Critical care preferred.
Education/Degree requirements:- Required: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with one of the following: diploma AD or BSN.

Licensure Certifications or Registration:- Required: Require a Current RN License in the State of Massachusetts BLS certification required

The Rapid Response Registered Nurse (RRRN) is a multiskilled nurse who provides temporary assistance to nursing departments in need of shortterm help. The RRRN is highly effective in meeting the challenges of numerous assignments while maintaining exemplary nursing care. The RRRN responds to rapidly changing needs of a unit intervenes by providing temporary assistance and moves on to the next assignment. The RRRN is competent in many areas of the nursing domain demonstrates flexibility in practice and sound clinical judgment.
