Job Description

Job Summary Supervisor Operations Hospice & Palliative Care

This position is the first level of leadership whose responsibilities include leading people removing roadblocks building a collaborative environment operating as the subject matter expert and communicating production and quality metrics.

Essential Functions Supervisor Operations Hospice & Palliative Care

  • Provides team members with guidance regular feedback and coaching/corrective action related to quality measures production standards SMART goals and behavioral competencies.
  • Responsible for interviewing and hiring new employees.
  • Monitor and prioritize daily workload for team members within specific business area of department.
  • Develop maintains and facilitates daily/weekly crossfunctional huddles related to our MDI (Managing Daily Improvement) boards.
  • Develops and maintains policies training materials and standard operating procedures related to the specific business area or department.
  • Identifies documents tracks and communicates opportunities for improvement within specific business area or department.
  • Operates as the subject matter expert and represents business are or department in PMO projects VSAs RIEs and other various meetings emails phone calls and customer inquires.
  • Tracks trends analyzes and communicate known systemic quality and production issues and works with the appropriate teams/individuals or leaders to identify short and long term solutions.

Qualifications Supervisor Operations Hospice & Palliative Care

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent
  • Preferred Associates Degree or equivalent Business Administration or Business Management
  • 3 years of relevant experience Skills knowledge abilities typically gained through 2 years of related experience Required
  • 3 years of relevant experience in group or product configuration/claims processing/operations in healthcare Required
  • 2 years of relevant experience in leadership Preferred
