Job Description
We are seeking a skilled PowerBuilder Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining applications on the Windows platform with a strong command of SQL and working knowledge of PowerBuilder development best practices. The role involves enhancing and supporting existing applications working with complex business logic and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop maintain and troubleshoot applications using PowerBuilder.
Work on the Windows platform to enhance performance and usability.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for use in datadriven applications.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements.
Produce clean efficient code based on specifications and design documents.
Perform unit testing and participate in system/integration testing.
Maintain code versioning and release management using Git or SVN.
Identify and resolve software defects and issues with minimal supervision.
Understand and implement complex business logic across various application modules.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with PowerBuilder development.
Strong SQL skills with experience in MS SQL Server or other relational databases.
Handson experience in Windowsbased application development.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN.
Ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
Good communication and documentation skills.
