Job Description

An awardwinning and highly regarded law firm in Basingstoke is seeking a dedicated and clientfocused Paralegal or Legal Executive to join its expanding Wills Trusts & Probate team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in private client work to develop their career in a supportive collaborative and forwardthinking environment.

The Role:
You will play a key role in supporting the team with probate and estate administration matters while also taking on your own small caseload. This position offers a fantastic mix of handson legal work and client interaction making it ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships and delivering practical compassionate advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a point of contact for clients taking instructions on probate and estate administration matters

  • Managing a small caseload of probate and estate files under supervision

  • Assisting with the progression of probate cases within the team

  • Registering trusts on HMRC s Trust Registration Service

  • Ensuring compliance and supporting the wider team in delivering an efficient highquality service



Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Wills Trusts and Probate team is essential

  • CILEX qualification is preferred but not essential

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A clientfocused approach with a sensitive and professional manner

  • Confident using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
