Job Description

Job Title: Licensed Podiatrist (PartTime OnSite)
Location: Corporate Hiring Solutions NY
Schedule: Approximately 10 hours/month 2 visits per month 5 hours per visit)
Patient Load: Average of 2025 patients per visit

Job Summary:

We are seeking a New York State licensed Podiatrist to provide parttime onsite podiatry
services to our clients. The role includes evaluation and treatment of foot and ankle conditions
under the direction of the Facility Medical Clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible
for delivering safe effective and compassionate care to a diverse population within a secure
psychiatric facility environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive podiatric assessments diagnoses and treatment planning.
Provide general podiatry services including:
o Nail debridement/trimming and removal.
o Treatment of corns calluses ulcers and warts.
o Incision and drainage of abscesses.
o Injection of local anesthetics steroids and other therapeutics.
o Prescribing appropriate medications and interventions.
o Referring patients for external surgical care when needed.
Maintain timely and accurate patient records as per facility protocols.
Collaborate with clinic staff and treating physicians regarding patient care.
Comply with all OSHA and infection control standards ensuring proper sterilization
practices.
Follow facility documentation procedures including daily signin/out and treatment logs.
Support CPCs Safety and Quality Assurance efforts by providing reports as requested.

Facility Support Provided:
Exam room treatment chair and podiatric instruments/supplies.
Onsite nursing assistant for patient coordination equipment prep instrument cleaning
and general assistance.
Security escort for patients during service times.

Qualifications:
Current and valid New York State Podiatry License.
Board Certification in Podiatric Medicine.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical podiatry experience preferred.
Ability to work with patients in a psychiatric facility setting.
Excellent clinical communication and documentation skills.

Additional Requirements:
Must provide documentation for licensure credentials and continuing competency.
Maintain primary source verification and credentials on file at the facility.
Adhere to all facility policies procedures and protocols.

Compensation:
Hourly rate to be determined based on experience
Rate $90.43 $110.00
