Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Java Tech Owner with a strong background in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have 812 years of experience in Javabased technologies along with a deep understanding of banking systems and financial services. As a Tech Owner you will be responsible for owning the technical delivery of banking applications ensuring best practices are followed and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical owner of bankingrelated applications and services.
- Lead the design development and maintenance of Javabased applications ensuring scalability performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with product owners business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards security protocols and regulatory requirements within the banking domain.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams ensuring best coding practices and architectural principles are followed.
- Manage endtoend technical delivery including code reviews performance optimization and deployment strategies.
- Identify and address technical risks ensuring robust and secure solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Java technologies and banking industry practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 812 years of experience in Java J2EE Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security) Hibernate and related technologies.
- Strong experience in the banking domain including knowledge of core banking systems payment gateways regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Solid understanding of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and DevOps practices.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins Docker Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies like Angular React or .
- Familiarity with security standards and protocols including OAuth JWT and SAML.
- Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
