Supply Chain Daily Planning and Production Manager is responsible for leading a team to lead and execute the plan for day to day operations of the DC production and financials (no transportation). Develop labor strategy and budget strategy. Leads cross functionally to ensure that all inputs are considered organized and planned to meet both short term and long term goals. Responsible for any reporting for these areas by reviewing its accuracy relevance and takeaways so that any areas of opportunities can be recommended. Develops strategies in the areas based on the reporting so recommendation for improvement can be shared cross functionally. This role is involved with current and future strategic plans to help achieve JD/Finish Lines strategic goals. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Lines core values of Customer People Winning Community and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following key duties:
Manages the team that is responsible for retail waves production and flow of work for the DC. Partners with cross functional groups to make sure plans are being met to achieve set goals.
Oversees operational labor planning. Partners with the Supply Chain operations leadership to understand processes and how the work mix allocations and schedule affects supply chain capacity. This includes being involved in weekly meetings with the group to review various topics (ie financials results opportunities in the business).
Responsible for developing plans for throughput goals on a daily weekly monthly and annual basis and drive the necessary actions to achieve these goals in the most efficient cost effective and productive manner.
Oversees team that analyzes production and hiring needs throughout the year. This leads to recommendations and strategic conversations on how to improve .
Works with the Merchandising leadership team and DC Operation leadership team to prioritize inbound containers for ontime delivery while balancing DC flow.
Manages team that analyzes and reviews PO information to determine where there could be challenges based on open orders inbound availability and staffing plans.
Oversees and creates analyzes and provides actionable insights and presentations to various groups within the Finish Line organization for strategic planning of supply chain initiatives.
Helps create and maintain all reporting that is utilized by the DC operations that pertains to production cost performance (CPU) and labor management.
Responsible for the teams that execute the supply chain budget except transportation. Works with a variety of internal supply chain groups to help achieve given timelines and financial goals. This includes meeting the needs of all parties by creating reporting and functional models to achieve those requests. Making necessary adjustments based on results along with all IPs that may be requested.
Works with the vendor relations manager and across vendors to help build a lasting partnership that is beneficial for all parties involved.
Utilizes advanced Excel BI and Access skillset to help improve areas of the business.
Responsible for direct report oversight team members including interviewing hiring training; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and performance managing employees; addressing inquiries and resolving problems; ensuring all direct reports are continuously developing and are set up for career growth.

Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree (B.A. from a fouryear college or university and at least 23 years in leadership experience and 23 years analyst function preferably with supply chain familiarity or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have advanced knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Office Access Excel or Google Suite equivalents. Ability to learn and apply Finish Line DC Warehouse management system warehouse control system labor management software and payroll software applications.
