Job Summary

Vertiv is seeking a Sr. Director KVM/Serial Product Line to lead our suite of products focused on TAA compliance eRate eligibility OEM products and ETO/CTO customization across the IT Systems portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex product portfolios driving product strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally to deliver exceptional products that meet market demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for TAA compliant products eRate products OEM offerings and ETO/CTO products.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends customer needs and opportunities for innovation.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business goals customer feedback and market demands.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations including TAA compliance and eRate program requirements.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust product strategies accordingly.
  • Product Development and Lifecycle Management:
  • Lead crossfunctional teams in the development and launch of new products and enhancements.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to endoflife ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering design and manufacturing teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment with customer needs.
  • Customer Focus:
  • Serve as the voice of the customer gathering and analyzing feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide product training and support to sales and marketing teams.
  • Financial Management:
  • Define product pricing strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor product performance profitability and ROI and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Foster a culture of innovation encouraging the team to explore new ideas and technologies.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business Engineering or a related field;MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 20 years of experience in product management with a focus on TAA compliance eRate OEM and ETO/CTO products
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex product portfolios.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools and methodologies.
