EDUCATION
HS Diploma or general education degree (GED).
Other: Graduate of accredited Emergency Medical Technician program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
EMTEmergency Medical Technician
OR LPLicensed Paramedic
CPTICertified Phlebotomy Technician I
BLSBasic Life Support Healthcare Provider
ACLSAdvanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
One year related experience in an acute emergency department
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge and ability to apply sterile technique
Knowledge of emergency care techniques and procedures to provide quality care to clients
Ability to assist with casting and splinting
Knowledge of medical terminology
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrates ability to set priorities
Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers clients customers physicians and the general public.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay Range is $35.08 to $43.09 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
