Mechanical Inspector
Salary: 18.00 per hour
Location: 10minute drive from Uxbridge / 40 minutes via public transport
Hours: MonThurs 08:0017:00 / Fri 08:0012:00 37 hours per week)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x basic rate 510 hours per week available)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent

Mechanical Inspector Responsibilities:
Inspecting machined and goodsin components using hand tools (verniers calipers micrometers)
Interpreting engineering drawings and inspecting components to tight tolerances
Completing inspection documentation with a high level of accuracy
Recording data using SAP and documenting nonconformances
Working to aerospace standards and contributing to product quality
Mechanical Inspector Requirements:
Experience with PCDMIS CMM programming and/or working with Hexagon Lazer Scanning Arm
Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Skilled in using precision measuring equipment (verniers calipers micrometers)
Good understanding of GD&T and both metric and imperial measurement systems
Previous experience in Aerospace Automotive Motorsport or Subcontract Manufacturing
CMM experience is beneficial but not essential
