SAP Finance Consultant

Description

The SAP Finance Consultant will be part of highly motivated and passionate team within DXC. You will be responsible for the team that performs all system maintenance project development migration projects at DXC. Resource will be responsible for the team that performs all Finance tasks within SAP Projects at DXC all from idea technical design implementation quality assurance test to cutover support. He/she is responsible for leadership and ownership of Delivery and contractual requirements across managed environments.

Manage implement and strategize the design configuration development and implementation of customization and enhancements for the Solution Manager applications and integrated solutions and capabilities with relevant thirdparty application to achieve efficient operability compliance and sustains productivity thus enhancing the value creation for Division business through IT innovation and support the business to attain operational excellence.

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers business needs and consequently for understanding customers businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leadingedge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the companys solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organizations profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Analysing advising and making recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the technical solutions implemented.
• Engage with clients to gather and analyse their business requirements and provide indepth knowledge and insights into module functionalities configurations and best practices.
• Translate client requirements into SAP module specifications and configurations.
• Design SAP solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and workflows.
• Lead the implementation of SAP modules ensuring timely and successful deployment.
• Manage SAP module projects from initiation through to completion.
• Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project timelines deliverables and budgets.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure SAP module functionality and performance.
• Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the SAP solutions.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support golive activities.
• Create comprehensive documentation for SAP module configurations processes and user guides.
• Prepare regular status reports on project progress issues and resolutions.
• Provide training sessions and support to endusers and client teams.
• Develop training materials and user manuals.
• Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance postimplementation.
• Liaise with clients project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP module features enhancements and industry trends.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to SAP module implementations. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure system integrity.

Primary Skills and Qualifications

• At least 15 years of SAP project experience with indepth knowledge of SAP Finance (GL New GL AA AP AR) & controlling data migration closing processes fast close as well as integration into logistics and HCM
• Very good process understanding for internal business processes in the areas of accounting and controlling.
• Providing sound solutions in the S/4HANA Finance environment based on the customers specific business requirements.
• Experience in at least 5 SAP Finance / Controlling implementations over the entire life cycle.
• Experience at least 3 SAP S/4HANA Finance endtoend project implementation
• Willingness to travel (depending on project requirements)
