Job Description
Join the Vascular Lab and lead the Team as we celebrate over 30 years of IAC accreditation from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission!
Position Highlights:
- Primary Focus: Directs the delivery of quality patient care and daily operations for Vascular Labs across the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Market. Responsible for recruiting training education equipment management IAC accreditation and collaborating with Service Line leadership on implementing strategic initiatives.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday 8a5p
- Location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center WinstonSalem NC & High Point Medical Center High Point NC
What You Will Do:
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare team members in the planning delivery and evaluation of care.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.
- Collaborates with leadership in recommending enough qualified and competentpersons to provide care.
- Assists indetermining the qualifications and competence of department team members who provide patient care services and who are not licensed independent practitioners.
- Assesses and improves the departments performance and identities unit goals.
- Provides orientation inservice training and continuing education for team members.
- Provides input into the development of an operating and capital budget to meet patient and departmental needs
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development anddemonstrates the skills and competencyappropriate to the ages culture developmental stages and special needs of the patient population served
- Will limit access to protected health information (PHI) to the informationreasonably necessary to do the job.
- Will share information only on aneed to know basis for work purposes.
- Maintain IAC accreditation.
- Access to verbal written and electronic PHI for this job has beendetermined based on job level and job responsibility within the organization. Computerized access to PHI for this job has beendetermined as described above and is controlled via user ID and password
What You Need:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Completion of an accredited program for Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHArequired
- 3 years progressive management experience to include budget and operational responsibilities preferred. 1 year of healthcare supervisory experience
