Job Description

Hourly rate: 12.60

Domiciliary Care Worker

Covering the Lawrence Weston and Shirehampton area!

A UK Driving License or equivalent and access to a car is essential for this role!

Hourly rate of 12.00 an hour plus 35p a mile care mileage and great company benefits.

Due to an increase in hours required we are looking for a Care Workers to join our team!

About the Role:

Care Workers really make a difference to the lives or ourservice users offering a highly personal service you will be helping to enable people to live as independently as possible by providing the best standards of care and support.

  • Assisting with all elements of personal care to ensureservice usersare supported in being as independent as possible in preparation for their day ahead
  • Assistingservice userswith getting washed and dressed preparing meals
  • Prompting and assistance with taking medication
  • Light household tasks
  • Light Cleaning
  • Gardening if required and able to
  • Budgeting for finance
  • Taking then shopping
  • Day trips to the beach
  • Offering companionship and helping buildservice usersconfidence and independence

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

Role Criteria:

  • Successful candidates must be willing to work alternate weekends
