Job Duties and Qualifications
Job Duties:
- Under strict supervision performs repairs preventative maintenance calibration and inspections on downhole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for downhole tools including Directional/ RSS or M/LWD sensors.
- Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe efficient and effective manner.
- Areas of specialization may include mechanical aptitude electronics aptitude computer skills assembly and disassembly of tools associated with PSL equipment or Measure while drilling and/or Logging While Drilling downhole tools.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Requires a technical school certificate or equivalent.
- An associate degree or higher is preferred.
- Mechanical background and experience required.
- Schedule: MondayFriday 8 hours/day.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given 1 their experience 2 additional job requirements and/or 3 business on education experience and skill level a variety of job opportunities might be available including Electrical Technician II and Electrical Technician III.
