Bene Aged Care is launching a brandnew Specialist Dementia Care Unit in October 2025 at our St. Agnes site and were looking for dedicated PCWs to join our care team.
Specialist Dementia Training: Build on your skills with specialised training and development in dementia and behaviour support.

Your Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate personcentred care to older people living with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.
Support residents daily living activities in alignment with personalised care plans cultural preferences and family needs.
Observe and report on residents health and functional changes to clinical staff.
Promote independence and rehabilitationfocused care.
Actively contribute to care planning quality improvement and continuous learning.
Essential:
Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent
Experience in residential aged care
Knowledge and experience in dementia care
Current National Police Certificate
Understanding of behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD)
Desirable:
Previous experience in a Specialist Dementia Care Program (SDCP)
Our new Specialist Dementia Care Unit is designed to support older individuals living with more complex dementiarelated needs. The focus is on stabilisation intensive personcentred support and transition planning all delivered in a warm purposebuilt environment.
