Lighthouse Lab Services has partnered with a premier Independent Reference Laboratory in the Orlando area who is looking for talented Molecular Technologist to join their growing team on the evening and nigh shift. AVAILABLE SHIFT: SUN THURS 5:00 PM 1:30 AM OR TUESSAT 9:30pm6:00am
What we are offering:
- Competitive Hourly Rates:
- Medical Technologist: $32$44 per hour
- Medical Lab Technician: $28$38 per hour
- Shift differential of 10 for hours worked after 9:30 pm.
- $5k SignOn Bonus (fulltime evening shifts only)
- 2 weeks vacation 1 week of sick time off per year (plus graduated increases with additional years of service)

Candidates Must Have:
- Active license as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
- At least 2 years of experience in a CAP/CLIA laboratory is preferred
- Knowledge of Microbiology techniques is preferred
- A patientfirst missionoriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
Duties:
- Biological specimen preparation labeling preservation or fixation and processing
- Performing moderate to high complexity tests according to established protocols
- Assisting in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Preparation and storage of specimens reagents and culture media
- Assisting in the performance of quality control procedures
- Maintaining/monitoring TAT for all department assays
- Adhering to documentation and recordkeeping standards
- Following the laboratorys Quality Management System
- Collaborate with other team members and leadership
- Laboratory maintenance activities including assisting with inventory biohazardous waste disposal sterilization of glassware and maintaining a neat and organized work area
- Other duties as assigned
