Join us as a Motor Underwriter in our Motor Underwriting Team: Were looking for an enthusiastic and selfmotivated team player to join our exciting team as we look to grow our brands and strengthen our presence in the Motor Insurance market.
What youll be doing
Youll get stuck in straight away soak up new experiences and most importantly youll positively influence and shape what we do making an impact on our customers lives. Well utilise your skills where they are most needed whilst also giving you to opportunity to build and grow the breadth of your expertise.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Support the management of our Core Motor product portfolio reviewing how were performing and identifying opportunities for improvement
Having a proactive focus on the development and implementation of application fraud controls identifying new rules and controls
Working collaboratively with our counter fraud teams closely monitoring performance of fraud adaptations
Ensuring our underwriting criteria supports the delivery of our financial targets and positive customer outcomes
Enacting and enhancing our underwriting controls
Working in collaboration with a multidisciplined trading team
What youll need
Experience of developing motor underwriting proposals in a personal lines insurance product ideally Motor.
Experience of fraud controls at point of quote and post sale
Proven track record of using your underwriting expertise to make a positive difference
Comfortable analysing data to inform your decisionmaking
Understanding of relevant insurance regulations & legislation
Great interpersonal skills & stakeholder management
Ability to innovate & work in a fastpaced environment across a breadth of initiatives

When youll be in the office depends on your role but most colleagues are in 2 days a week and well consider the flexible working options that work best for you.
This role is available in our London Bristol Leeds or Glasgow offices.
