As a part of the Weights Engineering Team you will have the opportunity to work on multiple commercial airplane models including derivatives mods and converted freighters. Our work scope encompasses Weights & Balance Manuals Loading Schedules Mass Properties Service Bulletins and Training to airplane operators. Position Responsibilities:
- Develops current and forecast weight balance and mass properties data for outofproduction airplanes and Boeing Converted Freighters
- Author Weights and Balance Manual updates including development of CG envelope analysis.
- Review coordinated Service Requests to answer Customer questions
- Assists in developing Loading Schedules for individual airplanes
- Analyze Service Bulletins to determine impacts to weight and balance on the subject airplanes
- Research and provide analysis for jacking and shoring of airplanes prior to modifications
- Provide logistics support to our instructors teaching Weights & Balance classes
- Conduct thorough walkthrough of airplane to be delivered in Victorville CA
- Manifest / inventory all items aboard and provide analysis of expected gross empty weight
- Assists in conducting certified weighs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
