The Human Resources Manager maintains and enhances the organizations human resources by planning implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies programs and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and assure administration of all personnel systems procedures and practices such as recruitment interviewing hiring/selection orientation training (coaching counseling) disciplinary and communication appraising and reviewing job contributions unemployment employee handbook employee records job descriptions payroll coordination termination and workers compensation.
- Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions insurance coverage tool account deductions savings deductions and job title and department/division transfers.
- Manage employee timecards along with adjusting times as needed update all paid time off and handle time off requests.
- Develop and review compensation strategies including salary wages annual incentive plans longterm incentive plans and other compensation.
- Develop maintain and administer employee benefit programs and communicate information to employees.
- Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Provide guidance and training for managers on coaching counseling disciplining and reviews of employees.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues by scheduling management conferences with employees hearing and resolving employee grievances and counseling employees and supervisors.
- Manage short term disability and workers compensation program.
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing updating and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- 25 Years industry work experience
- 2 Years managerial experience
- Management Training
- Human Resource background
- Basic Math and Computer Skills (Word Excel Office)
- Effective Communication Skills
- Strong Organization Skills with attention to detail
- Prioritize Tasks
Schedule:
7:00am 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay is negotiable and based on applicants education and/or work experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Natoma Manufacturing.
