Requirements

The Human Resources Manager maintains and enhances the organizations human resources by planning implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies programs and practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintain and assure administration of all personnel systems procedures and practices such as recruitment interviewing hiring/selection orientation training (coaching counseling) disciplinary and communication appraising and reviewing job contributions unemployment employee handbook employee records job descriptions payroll coordination termination and workers compensation.
  • Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions insurance coverage tool account deductions savings deductions and job title and department/division transfers.
  • Manage employee timecards along with adjusting times as needed update all paid time off and handle time off requests.
  • Develop and review compensation strategies including salary wages annual incentive plans longterm incentive plans and other compensation.
  • Develop maintain and administer employee benefit programs and communicate information to employees.
  • Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Provide guidance and training for managers on coaching counseling disciplining and reviews of employees.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues by scheduling management conferences with employees hearing and resolving employee grievances and counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Manage short term disability and workers compensation program.
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing updating and recommending human resource policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • 25 Years industry work experience
  • 2 Years managerial experience
  • Management Training
  • Human Resource background
  • Basic Math and Computer Skills (Word Excel Office)
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Strong Organization Skills with attention to detail
  • Prioritize Tasks


Schedule:

7:00am 3:30pm Monday to Friday


Compensation and Benefits:

Pay is negotiable and based on applicants education and/or work experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Natoma Manufacturing.
