Job Description

Jovian Concepts Inc is looking to hire aHardware Design Engineer Level 1 for a great opportunity on our Prime Program in the Annapolis Junction area. TS/SCI Clearance with a Poly required. No CCAs will be accepted at this time.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of VSAT design and field integration be able to conduct remote site surveys and perform RF interference detection/mitigation practices while working closely with customer and site personnel to maintain current hardware and provide refresh/new deployment support.

Required Experience with the following below:

RF Spectrum

RF Test Management Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)

Systematic troubleshooting processes

Read and understand wiring diagrams

Read and understand Technical Manuals

Fiber optical installation troubleshooting and repair

Experience in RF Communications Systems (Antenna Apertures Antenna Servo Systems RF Feed Assembly Low noise Amplifiers Frequency converters Antenna control units)

Requirements

Required Experience with the following below:

Qualifications:

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Poly required. No CCAs will be accepted at this time.
3 years experience as a HWDE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
